Join Get Your Guts in Gear, the Ride for Crohn’s and Colitis for our 1st annual Ohio Ride!  Enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Erie, Sandusky Bay, and Cedar Point.

This year’s Ride will take place on Saturday, August 16th, 2014. Join us for our one day Ride on Saturday morning for a day of riding, with food, music, and fun to follow.  Additional Sunday options for a full GYGIG weekend, too.

Mileage Options:
Ride 100 miles, 62.5 miles, 30 miles, or 10 miles– There’s something for everyone in the family

Saturday, August 16: Join us for 100, 62.5 or, 30 miles in Sandusky, Ohio.  GYGIG’s Rides are fully supported every mile of the way. We will be beginning and ending our Ride at Shoreline Park. Our 30, 62.5, and 100 mile routes provide a beautiful tour of Sandusky, Huron, Townsend, Fitchville, Norwalk, Milan, and Oxford. More information will be sent once you register, including timetables, overnight accommodations, and more.

Our routes are fully supported with rest stops approximately every 12-18 miles of the way, providing restrooms, hydration (sports drinks and water), energy  bars, and food.  Routes are all well marked with brightly colored signage. Sweep vehicles will sweep the route to ensure that all of our cyclists are well taken care of for the duration of their Ride.

Sunday, August 17: Join us for an exclusive Ride through Cedar Point Amusement Park on Sunday morning, followed by brunch at Cedar Point.  Our Ride will travel through the amusement park before opening, with an option for an under 10 mile ride or 30 mile ride.  Brunch is included in rider and volunteer registration, with an option for your family and friends to join you after your Ride.
